John joined Baker & Affiliates in early 2011 bringing over 23 years insurance experience to the Agency. He served as a highly successful agent and also held several leadership positions with State Farm Insurance in Texas and Connecticut. He is a frequent guest speaker to groups across the nation on topics including achieving financial goals and life insurance needs and strategies.  

 

John graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a BBA in Finance and from the University of Texas, Dallas with a Master's Degree in Management. He currently holds several professional designations including Certified Financial Planner, Accredited Estate Planner, Chartered Advisor in Senior Living, Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter. He is also a National Football League Players Association Financial Advisor. 

 

John will manage the newly opened San Antonio office of Baker & Affiliates which will serve the South Texas area.
