Matt joined Baker & Affiliates in 2009 after a successful 12-year career in commercial banking where he served in executive capacities including Branch President.  As his banking career progressed, he developed a thorough understanding of the risks and financial needs of small to mid-size businesses.  But after a decade-plus in banking, he wanted to add a different dimension to helping businesses grow.  So he chose to transition from banking to insurance.  In his former career field, he was able to provide his clients with loans to grow their businesses.  Now as an agent with Baker & Affiliates, Matt is able to provide his clients with insurance to protect what they’ve built.  Matt is active in many civic and community endeavors including having served as a Board member for both the Garland and Rowlett Chamber of Commerce.
